## Common questions

- **Is it free?** wander is free to download. Any advanced features are a one-time purchase, no subscription.
- **Do my notes leave my device?** No. wander is local-first: it edits the markdown files in your folder and nothing is uploaded as part of normal use.
- **Does it work with my Obsidian vault?** Yes. Open the folder and keep going: wikilinks, front-matter, folders and attachments all work, and your files stay plain .md.
- **How do I sync between my devices?** Put your vault folder in iCloud Drive (or Dropbox, or a git repo) and open it on each device; a vault is just a folder, so any folder that syncs is a synced vault. Step-by-step setup: wander.md/docs/sync.
- **Will it mess up my git history?** No. wander writes minimal, clean diffs, no reflowed lines or invisible metadata.
