Files

• ⌘O — open a folder · ⇧⌘O — open a single file
• ⌥⌘N — new document (a blank note you can Save As anywhere)
• ⌘K — search — full text in a vault, or jump to a file by name in a plain folder
• ⇧⌘D — open today's note
• ⇧⌘I — open your inbox
• ⌘S — save (autosave also runs a second after you stop typing)
• ⇧⌘S — Save As… (write the current note to a new location)
• ⌘W — close the window

Formatting

• ⌘B — bold
• ⌘I — italic
• ⌘E — inline code
• ⌥⌘1 / ⌥⌘2 / ⌥⌘3 — heading 1 / 2 / 3

Editing

• ⌘F — find
• ⌘G — find next
• ⇧⌘V — toggle raw markdown on and off (or click the eye in the breadcrumb row)

View

• ⌘\ — toggle the sidebar
• ⌥⌘\ — toggle the right panel
• ⌘+ / ⌘− — zoom the text in and out
• ⌘0 — back to actual size

The formatting toolbar can be Docked, Floating, or Hidden — set it in Settings ▸ Formatting toolbar. New windows open in Standard, Focus, or Typewriter mode — pick in Settings ▸ New windows open in.
