# Welcome to your notes

This folder is yours: plain markdown files on disk, nothing locked in. Every note you make here shows up in Finder and Files, previews with a press of space, and syncs with whatever syncs this folder.

A few starters:

- press ⌘N for a new note; the first line becomes its name
- type [[ to link notes together
- press ⌘K to search everything
- turn on Wander Cloud to have this vault on the web and your other devices, with its history: click Vault at the bottom right, then Settings…

Delete this note whenever you like.
